Arts4Hope Founder and KineOasis co-Founder, Bo is the father of three awesome kids, a Filmmaker by trade, and a passionate lifelong Movement Explorer and Educator through Martial Arts.

He brings over 40 years of practice and more than 20 years of teaching experience for all ages.

As a Massage Therapist he is also trained in various Bodywork modalities, has worked as a Caregiver with Seniors, and ran movement programs for Kids and Young Adults with Disabilities.

He grew up in Romania (but he is not officially a vampire) and spent most of his childhood and youth with his late Grandma – his most favorite person in the world.

As a Parent and Educator, he hopes to pass on the values he learnt from his Grandparents and Teachers onto his own kids and younger students.

Bo started Okinawan Goju-Ryu at the age of 13, became one of the Founders of the first Romanian Martial Arts Federation, and later an Aikido Instructor with the Romanian Aikido Federation under Dan Ionescu Shihan.

He founded The Grasshoppers Club and runs his Martial Arts program as a hybrid between in-person classes and an online community.

He loves being outdoors, never says no to chocolate, and thrives when surrounded by friends and family.

See me through my words and know me through my deeds.

Our ability to create triggers in order to affect and modify our inner processes (physiologically and psychologically) is one of the most powerful “techniques” at our disposal. Why not use it all the time!?

Through that awareness, we open the wonderful paths of learning and practicing not only punches, kicks, blocks, and throws - but also the intricate and delicate art of being human.

Are you/we still waiting?

As always with my writing or classes, I invite you on an exploratory exercise of how you can make various mental practices your own. This involves your willingness to try different things while at the same time remaining aware that everything you try can be adapted to serve your well-being.

As with everything that requires intellectual consumption and digestion, take my thoughts with a grain of salt. Critical thinking will make it taste much better.

A Somatic approach to Identity.

Just (DON'T) Do It!

In this article we will look at how our sense of touch is a behavioral modifier and how we can use it as a communication instrument in the context of our Personal Integrity Series.

When it comes to knowledge, be bold, be greedy, and be brave.

Can physical fighting (think in terms of training; i.e. sparring, contact drills, etc.) be used to inform us on how to better handle non-physical conflicts?

The quality of intent informs the quality of our movement and the quality of our interactions and relationships with our sparring and training partners.
